Medical Camp

AIM also focuses on helping students who are in real need of medical care. It is offered to children who have severe medical problems and who can’t afford the medical expenses in any manner.

On February 9th, 2019, AIM organized a medical camp in Ranni, Kerala, for the beneficiaries and their families. Around 160 people participated and it helped many members to have a proper medical checkup.

One student was diagnosed with a cyst in her throat during the medical camp. The doctor advised surgery. The family was facing financial hardships and they couldn't afford the medical expense even their rent as their situation was very pathetic. One of our partners took care of the financial need for the surgery by providing 19,000/- INR as it was diagnosed during the medical camp which helped the family to provide proper treatment before it worsened.

 AIM is also offering helping hands to the families who require aid for healthcare needs.

 AIM staff collects information regarding the amount required for the treatment and prepares a brief report. This report will be updated to the partners.

 Chapter Coordinators take the initiatives to arrange the funds for treatment. The collected amount will be transferred through AIM Bank Account.

 Hospital Visits/House visits are also done by the student counselor.
